Dallas Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Sunday, September 18th , 2011 The playoff hopes of the Dallas Texans -- which were already faint at best -- are now completely extinguished. The team will miss the playoffs this year, being mathematically eliminated from contention today. The Texans have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 12 years as a Professional Baseball Circuit franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 10th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2001. |
