Washington Silences Philadelphia, 7-0 Monday, September 12th , 2011 In an outstanding mound performance, Washington Warriors starter Ron Clous fired a complete-game shutout against the Philadelphia Keystones at Keystones Stadium. Clous was the key to the 7-0 Washington win. The 31-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 6 hits and 2 walks he allowed. "6 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."
