Great Day for Sai -- 5 Hits Sunday, September 4th , 2011 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Chicago's Kouichi Sai made it happen against the Diablos. Everything came together at the plate for the 24-year-old second baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and helped the Blackhawks triumph, 15-3, at Inferno Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Sai said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Kouichi Sai hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. This season, Sai has posted a batting average of .275 with 41 hits in 149 at-bats, 2 home runs and 17 RBIs. He has also scored 12 runs, walked 7 times and compiled a .312 OBP.
