San Francisco-El Paso Deal: Flores for Buitron Friday, August 26th , 2011 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Peanuts announced today the acquisition of 27-year old minor league SS Alex Buitron from the El Paso Diablos in exchange for 26-year old minor league SS Greg Rodriguez and 21-year old minor league CF Victor Flores. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Peanuts, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
