McCormick Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, July 25th , 2011 Matthew McCormick's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-5 in his team's 9-1 triumph over the Chicago Blackhawks at Warriors Park. The 25-year-old shortstop has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Warriors. Matthew McCormick hit an RBI triple in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Thus far this year, McCormick is batting .388 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
