Keller, Aces Take Dramatic Game 1 for 1-0 Series Lead
The Las Vegas Aces started the Play-in Series in dramatic fashion, stealing Game 1 from the Houston Mavericks in a walk-off in the 12th inning. Las Vegas took the 3-2 win thanks in large part to a good day from starter Tim Keller. The right-hander threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball in the win, which gave the Aces a 1-0 lead to start the best-of-5 series.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jordan Will in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a solo home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Kai Boone to win the game for Las Vegas. The home crowd went nuts.

After the game, Las Vegas manager Julian Riegel applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Caesers Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas.
