Blackhawks Walk It Off for 38th Win of Season
The New York City Blues got a superb performance from pitcher Matt Baird, but the Chicago Blackhawks still won the game, 3-2. Baird threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The win was credited to Sean Keating in relief. His record improves to 2-5. Greg Brister took the loss. Chicago has run its win streak to 4 in a row.

The decisive blow was delivered by Steve Abruzzese in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Greg Brister to win the game for Chicago. The home crowd went nuts.

"He who laughs last laughs best," Abruzzese said, postgame.
