Williams Lays Hammer Down in 5-1 Win
The St. Louis Lions extended their winning streak.

Kevin Williams was superb against Boston. The right-hander, who finished 2nd in the PBC in innings pitched with 162.1 in 2005, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Lions victory. The score was 5-1. The Lions have now won 7 straight.

The Shamrocks had their hands full with Williams, who overpowered Boston hitters while racking up 11 strikeouts.

"When he's dealing, Kevin is a tough customer," said St. Louis manager Leo Cruz.
