Goyer Now 1-2 After Beating Pilots
|
The Dallas Texans, behind a great outing from Christian Goyer, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2005 draft, defeated the Atlanta Pilots, 2-0, at The Hangar. The Pilots drop to 6-6 and continue their mediocre start to the 2011 season.
Goyer allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings for Dallas. With the win, the southpaw is 1-2 with an ERA of 5.09.
"Christian's as tough as he is talented," said Dallas manager Jesus Sanchez.
