R Top Manager is Pullin of Detroit (R) Monday, November 1st , 2010 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Eddie Pullin, he seems to have taken the Detroit (R) Motors to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the PBC Rookie Complex League for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Pullin led Detroit (R) to a first place finish in the North Division. The Motors ended up with a 60-28 record. |
