Motors Heading to Championship Cup Saturday, October 9th , 2010 The Detroit (R) Motors have eliminated the Denver (R) Cutthroats and are off to the Championship Cup. Detroit (R) won the final game by a 15-0 score and thus clinched the series 4-2. "We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Jon Barnett, who was named series MVP. For the series, Barnett hit .375 with a .483 on-base percentage. He drove in 8 RBI and scored 11 runs. The Detroit (R) Motors will play against the Las Vegas (R) Aces in the next round.
