Boston (R)'s Rodriguez Bags R Batting Award Friday, October 1st , 2010 Boston (R) Shamrocks fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in September. Willie Rodriguez put up a remarkable month at the age of 22 and has been named the PBC Rookie Complex League Batter of the Month. For the month, Rodriguez hit .388 with 12 home runs, 26 RBIs and 25 runs scored. During the current season Rodriguez is batting at a .355 clip with 22 home runs and 53 RBIs. He has played in 52 games and scored 46 times. |
