32 Games in a Row for Mangrum Friday, September 24th , 2010 Noah Mangrum's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 32 games. The Los Angeles (R) shortstop smacked 1 hit against the San Francisco (R) Peanuts in today's game at PBC Rookie Development Complex, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Knights drop the game, 5-1. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Noah Mangrum walked in the 1st, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 9th. Thus far this year, Mangrum is batting .357 with 7 home runs, 42 RBIs and 54 runs scored. |
