Panatta on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Toronto (R) Thursday, September 17th , 2009 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Boston (R)'s 13-6 win over Toronto (R), third baseman Elia Panatta was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at PBC Rookie Development Complex. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Panatta said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Elia Panatta singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Adrian Jimenez in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Chad Penucci in the 9th.
