22-Game Streak Ends, Moreno Hitless Wednesday, July 29th , 2009 Rodolfo Moreno went 0-for-4 at PBC Rookie Development Complex to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 22 games. The 18-year-old St. Louis (R) center fielder failed to get a hit in the 7-1 Lions victory over the Philadelphia (R) Keystones at PBC Rookie Development Complex. Moreno did not make himself available to reporters after the game. "I think Rodolfo is a little upset," St. Louis (R) manager Gabe Ames said. "He'll get over it." Moreno has a .292 average and a .373 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 50 hits, 5 home runs and driven in 34 runs. |
