Mangrum Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, September 9th , 2010 Win or lose, Noah Mangrum just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 1 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. The Los Angeles (R) Knights shortstop went 1-for-5, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated, 6-4, by the Houston (R) Mavericks at PBC Rookie Development Complex. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." Noah Mangrum singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and grounded out in the 9th.
