Season-Ending Injury for Brian Williams Thursday, September 9th , 2010 Doctors in Boston (R) said Brian Williams might not play anymore this year. The Shamrocks second baseman suffered a broken bone in the elbow during a game against the Toronto (R) Titans and will be out for at least 6 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. For the season, Williams has hit .279 with 9 home runs and 46 RBIs. He has played in 71 games and scored 56 times. |
