Kelley Bashes 5 Base Hits Friday, September 3rd , 2010 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Trevon Kelley -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at PBC Rookie Development Complex and paced the 8-5 Thunder win over the Boston (R) Shamrocks. After his dynamite batting performance, the Tampa Bay (R) second baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Trevon Kelley hit a solo-shot off Andy Tavira in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit a three-run home run off Louis Burgess in the 10th.
