Boatright Cops #1 Pitcher Award in August Wednesday, September 1st , 2010 Matt Boatright is the latest PBC Rookie Complex League Pitcher of the Month trophy winner. The Chicago (R) starter sparkled on the diamond time and again last month and finished August with an outstanding 4-0 record. In 6 starts he tossed 38.1 innings, posted 54 strikeouts, and sported a 1.17 ERA. This season, Boatright has registered 7 wins and 4 losses in 16 starts with a 3.07 ERA. |
