Benshoof Week's Top Player Monday, August 23rd , 2010 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the PBC Rookie Complex League Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Warren Benshoof for his great week at the plate. The Houston (R) right fielder took home the trophy by banging out 14 hits in 26 at-bats for a .538 batting average, driving in 6 runs and scoring 3 times. Benshoof is hitting .313 so far this season with 45 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 71 hits including 11 home runs, 25 walks and .392 OBP. |
