Thunder Barnard Gone for Year Monday, August 9th , 2010 Doctors in Tampa Bay (R) said Chris Barnard might not play anymore this year. The Thunder reliever suffered a torn labrum during a game against the St. Louis (R) Lions and will be out for at least 7 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. So far, Barnard has earned 2 saves in 18 relief appearances. He has 46 strikeouts and 9 walks in 26.1 innings while registering a 3.08 ERA and a 3-1 won-lost record. |
