5-Hit Barrage by Lopez Friday, August 6th , 2010 5 times is the charm -- at least for Luis Lopez. The El Paso (R) Diablos catcher tore up the Los Angeles (R) Knights to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at PBC Rookie Development Complex. The offensive onslaught from Lopez powered the 10-3 Diablos win. "Lopez was a tough out," Los Angeles (R) manager David Franco said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Luis Lopez singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. This year, Lopez has 7 home runs and a .194 batting average.
