Albuquerque Coyotes Take Amateur Circuit Cup Monday, October 11th , 2010 The Albuquerque Coyotes were good enough to get past the New Orleans Buccaneers at Coyote Park today and secure the 2nd championship in franchise history. "When you wear Coyotes on your shirt, you're good at something," Albuquerque skipper Jaden Johnson told the press. Coyotes center fielder Randy Reeves was named MVP of the series after he went .556 with 1 home run and 7 runs batted in. "It feels totally incredible," Reeves said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment." The new champions capped off a great season with a 7-3 victory over the Buccaneers to win the Amateur Circuit Cup 3-2.
