Oil City's Hakes to Miss Season Thursday, September 30th , 2010 Oil City has lost reliever Josh Hakes for at least 12 months. He was hurt in a game against the Farmers while throwing a pitch and sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. His doctors said Hakes will probably be out the rest of the year. This year, Hakes has made 28 relief appearances with 2 saves. In 35.1 innings, he has permitted 33 hits, fanned 41 hitters and recorded 2 wins and 2 losses with a 3.57 ERA. |
