Grays Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, September 28th , 2010 Steve Hayes didn't hide his feelings when asked by reporters how he felt to know his Providence Grays are now officially out of postseason contention. "It's one of the worst feelings you can have as a baseball player," he said. This is the 2nd time in a row that the Grays have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2008.Providence last won the Amateur Circuit Cup in 2003. |
