Wade Mardian Sidelined for Season Wednesday, September 15th , 2010 Wade Mardian has to call it a season. The Arlington Stars reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Providence Grays and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Mardian was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. For the year, Mardian has collected 2 saves in 16 relief appearances. He has also notched 27 strikeouts and 11 walks in 24.1 innings while registering a 4.44 ERA and a 2-1 won-lost record. |
