Titans Pearson Has 15 Ks Tuesday, September 14th , 2010 Kyle Pearson of the Long Beach Titans put on a pitching clinic at Long Island Park, as he struck out 15 Franklin Knights in a 3-1 victory. Pearson, who is tied for 2nd in the with a 13.7 K/9 rate, was simply magnificent, holding the Knights to 3 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Pearson said, "but eventually my changeup really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Pearson's performance, Titans manager Kyle Boss shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating."
