Great Week for El Paso's Garret Wise Monday, August 30th , 2010 A red-hot bat made Garret Wise the obvious choice for this week's Amateur Baseball Circuit Player of the Week. The El Paso first baseman laid down some numbers that no one else could match, including a .522 average on 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 3 RBIs, and 9 runs scored. Say no more ... he got the award. This year, Wise has hit at a .397 clip with 73 hits, 4 home runs, 20 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
