Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Friday, August 27th , 2010 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Houston-Boston contest at Boston Field. The Apollos Ismael Cano and the Battalion Robby Brown will have to sit out 3 and 5 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season in 60 games, Cano has hit at a .372 clip with 89 hits, 28 home runs, 72 RBIs and 51 runs scored. This season, Brown has compiled a 4-7 record with a 3.87 ERA in 16 starts. |
