Horn Caps Great Week Monday, August 23rd , 2010 A battle-tested John Horn declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 35-year-old El Paso first baseman collected the Amateur Baseball Circuit Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .389 average, 7 hits in 18 at-bats, 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Currently Horn has 10 home runs and a .333 batting average. |
