Dallas's Malfeito Will Miss Season Friday, August 20th , 2010 Playoff hopes of Bulls player Henrique Malfeito have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the reliever suffered a stretched elbow ligament throwing a pitch in today's game against Houston Apollos. Malfeito is expected to miss up to 11 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. So far this year, Malfeito has made 9 relief appearances with no saves, thrown 14.2 innings and struck out 21 with a 0-0 record. |
