Cano Top Hitter in ABC in July Sunday, August 1st , 2010 Ismael Cano is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Houston first baseman joined that select company when the Amateur Baseball Circuit announced the results of July's voting. Cano totaled 42 hits, 9 walks, 13 home runs, 38 RBIs and 27 runs scored last month to put together a .400 batting average and .452 on-base percentage. At the moment, Cano is batting .411 with 19 home runs and 52 RBIs. He has played in 39 games and scored 38 times. |
