Fort Wayne's Gonzalez to Miss Season Monday, July 26th , 2010 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Boston Battalion, Farmers starting pitcher Juan Gonzalez was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 5 months with an arthritic elbow. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Fort Wayne skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. On the year, Gonzalez has compiled a 0-3 mark with a 5.44 ERA. |
