Great Stroke: Vanden Burg Gets 5 Hits Sunday, June 13th , 2010 Kyle Vanden Burg was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Farmers Field, the Providence first baseman blistered the Fort Wayne Farmers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 13-2 victory. "Vanden Burg was too tough to get out," Farmers skipper Jonathan Paul said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
