SPBC Outstanding Pitcher Award Given Sunday, October 31st , 2010 A spectacular season out of the Chargers bullpen earned Steve Arthur the Pitcher of the Year Award in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit. In 98.2 innings, Arthur struck out 102, walked 55 and allowed just 77 hits, while holding the opposition to a .214 average. He saved 9 out of 13 save opportunities, compiled a 10-8 record, and had a 2.46 ERA. He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 18. Javier Aguilar of the Vacaville Steelheads finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Victor Zapata of the Detroit Chargers finished third with 1 first place vote.
