Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit #1 Rookie Announced Friday, October 29th , 2010 Chase Wells made quite a name for himself in his rookie year. The Sherbrooke third baseman brought home the 2010 Rookie of the Year Award today in recognition of his performance. Wells played in 84 games, batted .309, collected 111 hits in 359 at-bats, 19 home runs, 48 RBIs, 52 runs scored, 19 walks and compiled a .349 OBP. He received 18 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. John Shaffer of the Vacaville Steelheads finished second in voting, while Fred Goheen of the Las Vegas Rollers finished third.
