SPBC's Best Starter is Brumfield Friday, October 1st , 2010 A 4-1 record with a 0.64 ERA is a good month for most any pitcher. The Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit thought it was worthy of an award and named Avery Brumfield, starter for the Ottawa Capitals, September's Pitcher of the Month. He also held the opposition to a .186 average while posting 31 strikeouts in 42 innings. So far this season, Brumfield has a 11-7 record with a 3.00 ERA. |
