Super Swinger -- Moreno Slams 5 Hits Friday, September 24th , 2010 5 times is the charm -- at least for Jorge Moreno. The Southern California Empires right fielder tore up the Edmonton Drillers to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Empires Stadium. The offensive onslaught from Moreno powered the 7-0 Empires win. "Moreno was a tough out," Edmonton manager Sullivan Leonetti said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Jorge Moreno singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
