Southern California Loses Jacob Simpson for Season Monday, August 30th , 2010 The Southern California Empires were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Jacob Simpson left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Simpson has suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. To date this season, Simpson has compiled a 1-3 record with a 4.50 ERA in 5 starts. |
