Chris Kayser Captures SPBC Award Monday, August 30th , 2010 Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit pitchers tried and tried all week long to stop Chris Kayser, but to no avail. His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .500 for the week to win the SPBC Player of the Week Award. The Winnipeg right fielder cracked 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 home runs, drove in 8 runs and scored 7 times. In 63 games this year, Kayser has posted a .291 average and put up these numbers: 9 home runs, 29 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
