Caracals Lose Stone for Season Wednesday, July 21st , 2010 Cody Stone of the Caracals just might have to call it quits for the season. The 29-year-old Calgary third baseman received a possible season-ending injury against the Las Vegas Rollers recently at Caracals Stadium. Stone suffered a broken kneecap while running the bases. The Caracals medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 5-6 months. To date this year, Stone is batting .310 with 4 home runs. |
