Albany Swaps Sullivan to Green Bay for Bell Thursday, December 16th , 2010 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Albany Senators and Green Bay Braves has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 28-year old 3B Steve Sullivan to Green Bay in return for 30-year old RHP Joe Bell. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. Checking out his career figures, Sullivan has played in 103 games with a .240 batting average. Among his 83 hits are 6 home runs. He has also scored 38 runs, stolen 3 bases, and driven in 45 runs. Bell has appeared in 106 games and earned 10 saves over his career. His ledger sheet also shows 24 wins and 30 losses and a 3.60 ERA with 465 strikeouts in 483 innings. |
