Las Vegas-Toronto Trade: Owens for Handy Friday, October 29th , 2010 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Aces announced today the acquisition of 26-year old SS Jeremy Handy from the Toronto Titans in exchange for 24-year old minor league LF David Owens. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Aces, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." In his 259-game career Handy has tagged 213 hits with 40 doubles, 4 triples and 27 home runs. His lifetime batting average is .247 with 96 RBIs and 96 runs scored. |
