Aubin's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Thursday, September 30th , 2010 Texans designated hitter Steve Aubin has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for a fractured rib. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule. Doctors reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in Dallas told BNN Steve Aubin would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least 6-7 weeks. Steve Aubin is expected to undergo surgery in Dallas(Texas) tomorrow. In his season totals Aubin has 8 home runs and a .298 batting average. |
