No Late-Season Magic Coming: St. Louis Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 30th , 2010 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the St. Louis Lions. Club manager Leo Cruz said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Before this season, the Lions last missed the playoffs in 2008. In the 11 years they have been a Professional Baseball Circuit franchise, they have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
