Boston on Top of North Division Wednesday, September 29th , 2010 The Boston Shamrocks are trying to accomplish something that's never been done before - hosting a Pro Circuit Cup parade in the city of Boston. They've taken the big first step, winning the North Division title. "We want to win a championship, that's our ultimate goal and something our franchise deserves," said shortstop Brad Williams. "Our coaches, GM and ownership have been behind us, it's time to make that effort pay off." The club's record sits at 44-42 and it is the 2nd time they've won the division title. Team manager Matt Mays said it will be the "accomplishment of a lifetime" if he can lead the team to a championship. "It's what we've been working towards for so long," he said. |
