Diablos End Daniel Streak Monday, September 20th , 2010 The El Paso Diablos clamped down on Pat Daniel and put a stop to his hit streak. He went without a hit, ending the run at 23 straight games, but it didn't keep the Warriors from winning. Washington downed the Diablos, 3-1. "It was bound to happen," Daniel said with a shrug after the game. Looking at his present stats, Daniel has compiled a .362 batting average in 80 games with a .452 on-base percentage, while hitting 15 home runs and driving in 50 runs. |
