Cutthroats End Bruhn Streak Friday, September 17th , 2010 The Denver Cutthroats pitching staff did its job, holding hot-hitting Will Bruhn hitless in 4 at-bats during the club's 6-2 victory over the St. Louis Lions at Cutter's Cove. The disappointing performance ended a 22-game hitting streak for the right fielder. "I'm a little down right now," Bruhn said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." In his season totals, Bruhn has 8 home runs, .373 BA, .454 OBP, 50 RBIs and 61 runs scored. He has played in 77 games. |
