Daniel Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Wednesday, September 15th , 2010 Pat Daniel's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Washington. The 24-year-old third baseman extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 3-for-5 performance against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Warriors won the game, 12-4. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Pat Daniel struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Elijah McKinstry in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. This year, Daniel has hit at a .366 clip with 44 RBIs, 13 home runs and 60 runs scored. |
