Bruhn Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, September 13th , 2010 Will Bruhn ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at Keystones Stadium, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the St. Louis Lions dropped the game, 7-1, to the Philadelphia Keystones. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Bruhn said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Will Bruhn grounded out in the 1st, tripled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 9th. This season, Bruhn is swinging the bat at a .384 rate with 114 hits in 297 at-bats. To date he has hit 8 home runs, scored 61 runs and driven in 48. |
